2 GINÉ GINÉ 2021 (D.O.Q): Grenache and Carignan
Approximately 50% of vineyards are between 20 and 30 years old and 50% are old vines on slopes, all of them located in different areas: Bellmunt, Gratallops, La Vilella Baixa, El Molar, La Vilella Alta, El Lloar and Torroja. Certified Organic viticulture. Llicorella (Slate soil of the Carboniferous period).
2 BABOIX 2020 (D.O. MONTSANT):Grenache, Carignan / Samsó, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo / Ull de llebre.
Vineyards cultivated on terraces and mostly trained on trellises. Decomposed granite with little organic matter.
2 GINÉ GINÉ 2021 (D.O.Q): Grenache and Carignan
Each variety is fermented separately, at a controlled temperature between 26ºC and 28ºC. The maceration is long. Malolactic fermentation is then carried out. When finished, the blend is made and bottled.
Deep, bright-rimmed ruby. Lively scents of ripe red and blue fruits, lavender and smoky minerals, along with a touch of cracked pepper. At palate, black raspberry, red currant, cherry and floral pastille flavors underscored by a vein of juicy acidity.
2 BABOIX 2020 (D.O. MONTSANT):Grenache, Carignan / Samsó, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo / Ull de llebre.
Each variety is fermented separately and at a constant temperature of 26 ºC. The maceration is long. Malolactic fermentation is then carried out. Once finished, it is blended and aged in French and American oak barrels. About a year later, it is bottled for aging for about 4 to 6 months.
Bright garnet color of medium depth. It is fleshy and velvety at taste, full and round, with rich red fruit flavours ranging from cranberry and raspberry, to blackberry, cassis and plum, and an undertone of pepper.
